According to the Police Narrative, Rabello was under the influence of alcohol. Could this situation be chalked up to too much alcohol? We don’t know. I do not believe that this type of situation is good, for anyone. But because I believe that people who are in the Brevard County Jail, well, any jail and prison, should be treated with equality, this goes to show that you never know who is going to be brought in under arrest. Perhaps that should be the lesson, let this go to show to the new Corrections Deputies, and even those that have been in the field for years, that when you choose to judge and degrade a person because they are in jail, it may be someone who just made a bad judgement error? How would you want yourself, or one of your family members treated? If you follow that golden rule, you will have a long successful career in Corrections, in my opinion.
In the meantime, BCSO is conducting their own investigation, and therefore can not comment. Rabello is currently relieved of duties pending the outcome of investigation.
I left a message for Rabello, to no avail.Share on Facebook
