In a world where we are all so busy, to have two people take time from their busy schedule, to help someone in need, on Christmas Eve, it is priceless.
Hayden was the little boy who received a bag of toys, and for the Grandma raising this little one? A broach, with “BELIEVE” on it. Hayden was smitten with the shiny badges of the Deputies, and in awe of the utility belts.
I met the grandma at a gas station on Christmas Eve morning, who was getting gas. She wanted to put $1.12 on her credit card, and had about 90 pennies. I added a ten to help her out, and after thanking me, I knew she needed more help.
With the help of BCSO’s Chief Mike Lewis, Deputy Clark, an Deputy Loyd, we sprung a plan. Showing up with gifts, and restoring the faith of Law Enforcement in one little boy’s eyes. Hayden’s dad has had some run in with the law, Hayden was not a fan of our Deputies. I am confident that he has changed his mind!!! Thanks guys!!!!Share on Facebook
